Adolf Noise

The story

Adolf Noise is an experimental electronic and audio-collage project formed in 1994 in Hamburg, Germany. Initially established as a duo by Stefan Kozalla (best known as DJ Koze, member of Fischmob and International Pony) and Marc Clausen, the project blended unconventional sampling, surreal humor, ambient textures, and abstract electronics.

Following the release of early EPs and their debut full-length album Wünschen Ist Macht (1998), Clausen departed the project in 1999. Since then, Adolf Noise has served as Kozalla's primary solo outlet for his most idiosyncratic and avant-garde sound explorations.
