The story

American avant-garde metal band from Texas, formed in 1995, active until 2007. Their songs are inspired by the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies.

Cornbugs was an avant-garde metal band from the U.S., active from 1995 until their split in 2007. The members included vocalist Bill Moseley aka Choptop, guitarist Buckethead, Deli Creeps drummer Pinchface, and later member keyboardist/producer Travis Dickerson (2003–2007). The band released five albums, two DVDs, and three compilation albums, with their music heavily influenced by The Texas Chain Saw Massacre series. They debuted with "Spot the Psycho" in 1999 and later released "Cemetery Pinch" and "How Now Brown Cow" simultaneously in 2001. Their other albums include "Brain Circus" (2004) and "Donkey Town" (2004), both self-released and sold via Moseley's website (www.choptopsbbq.com). In 2005 and 2006, TDRS Music remastered earlier works and released them in three compilations ("Home for Robots", "Skeleton Farm" and "Celebrity Psychos"). Cornbugs spilted in 2007 after releasing two DVDs, "Quackers!" and "Headcheese", and contributed to the tattoo instructional DVD "Dead Man's Ruin - Advanced Tattoo Techniques."
