The story

Child Rebel Soldier (CRS) was a hip-hop supergroup formed by Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Pharrell Williams in the mid-2000s. The group debuted with the track "Us Placers" in 2007. Though plans for a full album were teased, CRS released only a few songs before going inactive due to busy solo careers.

The project was later revived in 2024 as a purely solo side-project of Lupe Fiasco's, where he would strictly rap over Radiohead samples.
