The story
Italian Eurobeat artist who has been working with Bratt Sinclaire since 1991 when they both were collaborating and working for A.Beat-C.. The David Essex namesake was only used in the early 90's, but after that, the D.Essex/D-Essex namesake was used instead. According to Laurent Gelmetti, this was because the alias originally came from another alias used by the famous British singer, David Albert Cook, also called David Essex. Therefore, Cook's lawyer threatened to sue A.Beat-C. if they didn't change it.
