De Facto was an American experimental dub/reggae project formed in 1998 in El Paso, Texas by Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala, alongside Jeremy M. Ward and later Isaiah "Ikey" Owens. The group released several records in 2001 before going on indefinite hiatus in 2003 following Ward's death.
