FME or Free Music Ensemble is yet another project of Chicago based saxophonist Ken Vandermark. Here he's joined by Nate McBride on double-bass and Paal Nilssen-Love on drums. So far they have released three albums on the Okka Disk label: FME (2004), Cuts (2005), and a double live album Montage (2006).

Members past and present, each with their own page. From MusicBrainz.
Records by other artists with FME in the credits, from the song and record credits of MusicBrainz and Discogs. Their own bands are above.
Playlists with FME in them: Sonic Architects selections and Pause & Record tapes from linr listeners, Deezer’s editors and curators, radio shows on Mixcloud and ListenBrainz playlists. Every tile opens on linr first, with the original one link away.
Where the listeners of ListenBrainz, Last.fm and Deezer agree, with the circle of FME’s own bands. A source that names other people with the same name is left out.
When FME plays on your computer, linr shows the story of the song as it plays, on any screen: the record and its date, who plays on it, related artists, concerts ahead. Spotify, Apple Music, Plexamp, YouTube, any player. Free, no ads.
