The story
Female-led UK electronics / noise trio directed by dominatrix / model Dannielle Black, along with Barry Fuller and Jason Whittaker.
The three memebers got together in 1992. Hugely influenced by the 80s DIY tape culture, they were resolutely analogue in their approach using tape loops and found sounds as a basis for their noise. Often bearing explicit artwork, label operations grinded to an abrupt halt when UK customs seized a shipment of fetish magazines from Paris which included a feature on Danni. Fuller was threatened with prosecution over importing pornography, and the project only recorded for a few more years. A move into digital technology hastened their end in 1998.
Also ran the tape label and released material by other DIY tape artists as well as some of the Hex Minora recordings.
