The story
Before there was Rizzle Kicks, there was Oui 3. And before there was Oui 3, there was Honky, the duo of an original cross between Arrested Development-style urban poetry and Stereo MCs-style beats and breaks, courtesy of rapper Kye Wright and producer Matt Ellis. For Resident Advisor, it's "an original cross between urban poetry and beats & breaks, like the Black Eyed Peas but ten years early." "Next time you play your worn out copy of De La Soul's 3 Feet High And Rising and wonder why on earth there isn't more records as fun, catchy, as that classic, then ponder no more..."
