The story
Vocalist, guitarist, producer. Born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey, MIKE KORMAN has made a musical comeback.
Guitarist in the 1980’s Hoboken band “GUT BANK”, KORMAN stopped playing music in 1987 to pursue a career in his hometown, working at City Hall. “I was inspired by reform Mayor Tom Vezzetti to serve in government”.
Still working for the City of Hoboken, KORMAN has begun exploring music again. “For 20 years I didn’t pick up a guitar. But in 2007, I bought a used acoustic guitar at a flea market and began playing some old riffs - then applying some lyrics I had written years ago." The result was a collection of new recordings - a 2012 solo album “HOBOKEN ROCKS”.
