The story
"Off" is an acronym for Organisation For Fun, as well as the first three letters of "Offenbach", the city, where the band was established.
The group is an early step of 3 people from Frankfurt/Germany, all of them DJs from the local club scene in the mid-1980's. and already teamed up in 1984 to form the producer duo . Together with , who was part of the club scene at the since 1982, they teamed up in 1985 and founded this project.
Their second single "Electrica Salsa" in late 1986 became a big hit in Europe. The group existed until 1990, when Anzilotti & Münzing focussed on their project , which went even more successful in the following years.
