Pieces is a collaboration between avant-garde guitarist Buckethead and drummer Bryan Mantia aka Brain (26).
The music on their only album "I Need 5 Minutes Alone" (1997) sounds like a stripped-down prototype version of Buckethead's subsequent album "Monsters and Robots" (1999) which featured Brain and his Primus bandmate Les Claypool. The album was recorded and mixed by Buckethead's collaborator Steve Freeman (3) aka Extrakd.
