American mastering and vinyl cutting engineer. In charge of Mediasound's mastering deptartment in mid 1970s. Currently works at Sterling Sound in New York.

Known to have worked at Sterling Sound (New York), Trutone Mastering Labs (Nanuet, New York), Atlantic Studios (New York) and CBS Studios, New York.

Runout signature may appear as "Ray," "RFJ," "RJ," "R.F. Janos," "JANOS," "√ANOS," or "J∆NOS."
