Stefan Wissnet

The story

German bassist, guitarist, vocalist, composer and engineer born August 24, 1951 in Munich; died March 4, 2024.

In the mid 1960's, he was bassist of the original lineup of Munich based Beat Band . He was still in the band, when they renamed it to around 1968. Under this name, they recorded their first album in 1972, when they already switched to Psychedelic and Jazz Rock. In 1973, they again renamed to and Wissnet stayed until the end of the band in late 1977.

Already in that stage, Wissnet became assistant engineer of at the in Munich. He also acted as studio guitarist and bassist for several recordings in that studio.
