Frederik Hahn , better known by his stage name Torch, is a German rapper. He is also known as DJ Haitian Star. He was among the first German rappers who began rapping in German in the mid-1980s in Heidelberg, laying the foundation for the success of German hip hop music. In 1985, Afrika Bambaataa named him king of the first German chapter of the Zulu Nation and also gave him the title: Overlord of Sound & Culture.

Is a record missing?
The bands Torch played in, each with its own records. From MusicBrainz.
Records by other artists with Torch in the credits, from the song and record credits of MusicBrainz and Discogs. Their own bands are above.
Playlists with Torch in them: Sonic Architects selections and Pause & Record tapes from linr listeners, Deezer’s editors and curators, radio shows on Mixcloud and ListenBrainz playlists. Every tile opens on linr first, with the original one link away.
Where the listeners of ListenBrainz, Last.fm and Deezer agree, with the circle of Torch’s own bands. A source that names other people with the same name is left out.
When Torch plays on your computer, linr shows the story of the song as it plays, on any screen: the record and its date, who plays on it, related artists, concerts ahead. Spotify, Apple Music, Plexamp, YouTube, any player. Free, no ads.
