The story

Formed in 1986 in Los Angeles, CA, Waldo The Dog Faced Boy was an improv/art rock ensemble featuring core members: Mary Ellen Mason (vocals), Tom Grimley (guitar), Devin Sarno (bass), Jim Richards (trombone) and Elijah Koenig (drums). Past members also included: Tim Gallaher (key sound-boards) and Chris Stevens (guitar) among other rotating guests over the years. The band's studio albums included: "Wood", "Gifts of Finest Wheat" and "Tingle" as well as a collaborative 10" vinyl release (with fellow Los Angeles band That Dog) and the 7" "Suite American." Waldo disbanded in 1994. The digital release "The Complete Studio Recordings" compiles all of the band's recorded output during their existence, including 4 previously unreleased songs.
